Vibratory Compactor: Attachment
Deere has added three new models of vibratory plate compactor attachments to its Worksite Pro line. The compactors are compatible with most recent Deere backhoes and compact excavators, as well as some competitors’ models. The three compactors are able to deliver between 4,000 lb and 8,000 lb of impact force. All three models provide 2,000 rpm frequencies at standard hydraulic flow. Tool Lanyard: Quick-Connect Attachments
Milwaukee’s line of tool lanyards are rated for tools ranging from 10 lb to 35 lb. The lanyards’ 360° swiveling attach points ensure that the operator does not get tangled while operating the tool. All have locking carabiners for clipping to a work belt or nearby railing, and a quick-connect system allows for frequently used tools to switch between lanyards as needed. Pipe Coupling: Single-Bolt Design
The Grinnel G-Fire One-Bolt coupling features a single-bolt design for quick installation on pipe connections. The coupling is available in sizes ranging from 2 in. to 8 in. and can be used on pipe systems with a maximum working pressure of 365 psi. It features a pre-lubricated, center-stop, Grade A EPDM gasket. The coupling is available with a galvanized or painted finish, and the bolt is carbon steel with zinc electroplating. The GM-50 manual total station has a measurement range of up to 4,000 meters when using a prism and up to 500 meters when in reflectorless mode. It can perform a measurement in only 0.9 seconds, with a 1.5-mm/2-ppm level of accuracy. The total station has onboard memory for storing up to 50,000 measurement points, with the option for up to 32 GB of external USB flash storage. Data points can also be downloaded off the GM-50 to a smart device via Bluetooth. The total station is IP-66 certified for water and dust resistance.
