CONCRETE CORE BITS: Replaceable Tips
Hilti X-Change Module (X-CM) core bits can be retipped on the jobsite using an ordinary screwdriver, with no need to replace the entire core bit. The result is a faster turnaround when the bit becomes stuck in concrete and needs to be removed. In terms of uptime, this gives a single barrel and three modules the same productivity as three entire core bits. Designed for wet coring, the X-CM system can be switched to dry coring in unreinforced concrete simply by changing out the module. The X-CM system is available in diameters ranging from 2 in. to 8 in. Hilti; www.us.hilti.com
