There were two big moves this week for Engineering News-Record. We moved our New York City headquarters to the 60th floor of the Empire State Building, and we moved our website, ENR.com, to the mobile responsive platform of BNP Media, our new publisher.

ENR.com has come a long way since its launch in the mid-1990s. Back then, the site provided only basic information about the magazine through an amazing new medium—the World Wide Web. Today, the website offers breaking news, stand-alone stories, video coverage, 10 regional sections, an archive of all the print issues and an interactive Twitter feed (@ENRnews).

ENR.com’s new appearance is cleaner and simpler than before. The technology underlying the simplicity allows the site to know when a reader is accessing it from a mobile phone, a tablet or a computer, then the web pages reconfigure to display the content in the most accessible way for that particular device. If you don’t see one of your favorite pages, use the improved search engine to look for it. We welcome all your comments, and we’re eager to hear what you think.

Back in the physical world, everyone in our Empire State Building office will have a new telephone number. These phone numbers will be under the “Contact Us” tab on the website. You also can reach us through the main number, 646-849-7100, during business hours.
