The move is aimed at making operators more comfortable as skid steers move from a support to production role. The 272C is the largest model, with a 90-hp, turbocharged 3.3-liter diesel engine and an operating weight of 8,292 lb. he MPH122-2 features a new 482-hp, Tier 3-compliant turbocharged V6 Deutz diesel engine that produces 9% more horsepower than the previous model. The machine has three new rotor options: a 91.7-in.-wide stabilizer rotor with Kennametal paddle-type teeth and a 19.7-in. cutting depth; a 99.6-in.-wide universal rotor with a 16.5-in. cutting depth; and a 99.6-in.-wide universal rotor with bolt-on Kennametal tooth holders and a 16.5-in. cutting depth. The maximum working speed of the all-wheel-drive machine is 211 ft per minute. he new L350 wheel loader is the largest ever produced by Volvo Corp. When tested in load-and-carry applications, the machine posted an 18% rise in productivity and 46% better fuel economy over the previous model. The L350 has a new engine, transmission, axles, stronger hydraulics, improved lift arm and a larger cab. The machine produces 532 bhp of gross power and has 106,290 ft lb of breakout force using a 8.6-cu-yd rock bucket. The operating weight is 119,050 lb. ompact size and lightweight construction make the new UCI3-8 generator set ideal for mobile or stationary applications, says the maker. The 8-kW generator is powered by a three-cylinder Kubota diesel, with radiator cooling. Running at mid-speed, the generator set operates at 2,800 rpm for quiet operation and long life. It weighs 310 lb and has a list price of $6,800.
