Mid-size, four-wheel-drive, rough-terrain aerial work platforms are available in four models, the 7127, 7135, 8243 and 8850. The units have a working height up to 56 ft and capacities up to 1,500 lb. With gradeability to 30% and large 64-in. x 116.5-in. roll-out platforms, the machines provide extensive job site work support. All models are equipped with a simple and safe proportional joystick control designed to prevent inadvertent operation. Standard features include rear-loading gate, tilt alarm with drive/lift cut-off and 110-volt GFI AC outlet. The Gradall model 534D9-45 telehandler features a 9,000-lb maximum lift capacity and a 7,000-lb capacity at its 45-ft maximum lift height. The units 90� rear-pivot steering provides good maneuverability on crowded job sites, the manufacturer says. The telehandler pivots around tight corners keeping the forks and load inside the tight turning radius at all times. It is powered by a 110-hp John Deere engine and can be equipped with a variety of attachments. Compact, lightweight and portable are highlights of the new Ridgid 425 Tristand Chain Vise. These features make it easier for service plumbers and mechanical contractors to move to and from job sites. Suitable for a wide range of pipe materials including steel, copper and PVC, the tristand can be used for pipe ranging in size from 1�8 in. to 2 1�2 in. The work surface is equipped with two tool holders. Also, a self-locking latch automatically engages when closing the stand, eliminating the need for a leg chain. Model 60T telescopic boom, crawler crane with a 60-ton capacity and a four-section, 105-ft boom tip height is built on a Caterpillar Model 325 excavator power module. The crane is powered by a quad turbocharged 168-hp CAT diesel engine with an automatic engine control and electronic power unit control with back-up system. A push button on the joystick extends or retracts from 9 ft, 9 in. in the stowed configuration to 14 ft, 7 in. at full width. The standard winch uses a two-speed motor with a 16,610 lb maximum line pull holding 656 ft of line. The SG12/E single-head surface grinder is designed for smaller-scale surface preparation projects. It is powered by a totally enclosed, fan-cooled 1.5-hp electric motor and features a single rotating disc with a 12-in.-wide working width. Offering a top disc rotation speed of 250 rpm, the unit can be used for grinding concrete surfaces and more.
