Company introduces EcoSpace, the first machine-room-less elevator designed specifically for two to seven stop applications. A key feature of the EcoSpace elevator is the EcoDisc hoisting machine, which mounts off the car rail inside the elevator shaft. EcoDisc and all its control and logic systems fit in a standard hydraulic hoistway, eliminating the need for a machine room. This gives architects more design freedom, unlocking 36 to 136 additional sq ft of floor space. Models with lift capacities of 2,000 or 2,500 lb are available and offer a quieter, smoother ride. Skid steers 2095 and 2105 have been replaced by the enhanced 2099 and 2109 models. They are equipped with 86 hp and 115 hp, respectively, supplied by new Tier II Perkins engines. The models have higher rated operating capacities, as well as multiple steering/ hydraulic control options with ergonomic control handles. This forward digging skid steer mounted-trencher allows the operator to dig right up to a building or curb, says the maker. Its side-shift design digs in both directions, straight and in curves. The trencher has a skid-plate that can be set in relation to the two tandem dirt augers and rests on the ground, allowing the operator to skid-steer in the float position and maintain a constant digging depth at all times. A new line of TM mortar mixers consists of 7-cu-ft models that are powered by an 8-hp Honda engine and 9-cu-ft models that run on an 11-hp Honda engine. The models provide ease of operation by locating the dump handle and clutch on the front post, where the operator works. The TM series comes standard with a heavy-duty steel drum. Poly drums are also available as an option. The Caddy Speed link system can be used as an alternative to threaded rod, beam clamps and hardware to support a variety of suspension applications such as lighting, ductwork, cable trays, electrical busway, pipe and more. A galvanized steel cable with a specially engineered hook bonded to one end serves as the means of support. The new Sahara air heater, model 1250, is suitable for temporary heating of large enclosed spaces and multistory buildings for construction applications. It utilizes a trailer-mounted hydronic heater to heat the unit’s 140 gallons of heat transfer fluid up to 180F. The air heater offers a choice of three flameless, liquid-to-air heat exchangers, which are conveniently stored in the trailer that houses all other system components for easy transport to the jobsite. The R-Steel wall panel system is available to architects and other design professionals. This non-cavity wall panel offers an alternative to traditional studwall construction. The panel system is a one-piece, engineered structural insulated wall panel system consisting of Perform Guard expanded polystyrene insulation molded to a galvanized 20-gauge corrugated steel core. The panels weigh less than 3 lb per sq ft, therefore no heavy lifting equipment is required. Four-man crews can erect more than 1,000 sq ft of wall per hour.
