private team led by Madrid-based Cintra Corp. has secured financing to build 40 tolled miles of Texas State Highway 130. The $1.36-billion project will be financed through a mix of methods, including a 30-year, $685.8-million bank loan, $197 million from team partners, private equity and a federal loan. Work on the new bypass for Interstate 35 is to begin in early 2009 and finish in 2012.
