Frank J. Wilson, Houston’s METRO President and CEO, resigned in May. An independent investigation found no evidence of impropriety after allegations of improper spending.
Former Houston City Controller George Greanias will serve as interim president.
UHY Advisors, New York, found no evidence of improper spending, reimbursements or any other prohibitive actions related to Wilson. The METRO board hired Fulbright & Jaworski law firm to perform a compliance review.
Additionally, a compensation committee was formed to review the salary and benefits packages of METRO’s senior management.
