John W. Gallivan Center Ice Rink, Amphitheater & Support Facilities Remodel

The John W. Gallivan Plaza is a premier open concert and multi-use public space in downtown Salt Lake City. The Gallivan Center is located between the One Utah Center and the Marriott hotel on top of a three-level underground parking structure. The newly renovated facility, with double the concert viewing area, boasts a new building that can be rented for weddings, receptions and private parties.

The two-story structure offers new public restrooms and a south-facing terrace that can seat up to 250 people. The project also included construction of a larger ice skating rink and a sweeping shade structure.
