Medical Plaza 1 and 2 are four-story buildings totaling 96,804 sq ft and 101,581 sq ft, respectively.

Adjacent to St. Anthony’s full-service hospital and Level 1 trauma center, the buildings offer a variety of outpatient, health care and other medical services. Designed by Denver’s Davis Partnership Architects PC, Medical Plaza 1 and 2 are four-story buildings totaling 96,804 sq ft and 101,581 sq ft, respectively.

JE Dunn’s scope of work also included 82,000 sq ft of tenant finish. The built-out tenant areas include outpatient radiology and interventional nerve procedure space, a breast cancer center, pre-admission testing areas, pharmacy, cardiac rehabilitation suite, surgical services suite, radiation oncology suite and a senior health center.

JE Dunn took over the project in July after the original contractor went out of business.

“From day one, the project presented many unique challenges,” said Brad Clatterbuck, JE Dunn project manager. “It truly required a collaborative effort from all parties involved on the construction, design and ownership teams to make this project a success and complete it on schedule. The city of Lakewood played an instrumental role in contributing to the project’s success through its cooperation during the permitting process as well as a proactive approach to ensuring final inspections were completed on time.”
