The California High-Speed Rail Authority board has approved the launch of track and systems installation for the nation’s first high-speed rail network, awarding a major contract to a consortium of Kiewit, Stacey Witbeck and Herzog.
This $19.8-million intermodal railyard expansion improved rail-to-dock operational efficiencies at the nation’s second-busiest port facility and took place within the port’s largest container terminal.
