Autodesk has released Forma Building Design and made Revit the first connected client, meaning granular data can flow to it from Revit with no file exchange or conversion needed. 

Autodesk has opened a public beta for its cloud-based Forma Building Design tool, and detailed a larger reorganization of its cloud software strategy.

During the American Institute of Architects’ 2025 Conference held in Boston June 3, Autodesk released ArcGIS for Forma, a public beta for a cloud-based connection that links up Esri’s ArcGIS and Autodesk’s Forma design environment.
