ENR New York's Specialty Contractor of the Year 2018: Lafayette Metal and Glass Company

ENR New York is pleased to announce Lafayette Metal and Glass Company is the Specialty Contractor of the Year.
Lafayette has been around since 1899. The firm says its main objective is to become a leader in architectural metal and glass — and it looks well on the way.
The Nassau County, New York-based company has seen tremendous growth in the past seven years — from generating $1 million in revenue with five employees in 2011, to a company that has 100 workers and expects revenue of $48 million in 2018. In 2017, The largest project it completed in 2017 is PricewaterhouseCoopers’ office at 90 Park Ave., and the biggest one on which it broke ground is the restack of Credit Suisse’s 11 Madison Ave. digs.
For its success, Lafayette credits a “talent management mindset” as well as the development of project deployment software and operational practices that support transparency, accountability and communications with clients.
