Last month, category winners of ENR’s 13th annual Global Best Projects competition were announced, with project teams cited by a panel of industry judges for outstanding design and construction efforts of the past year from across the world.
From 32 winning projects located in 24 countries, ENR editors selected three as finalists for Global Project of the Year.
While all projects exhibited excellence in designing and building internationally, the three chosen excel in almost all criteria by which projects were judged: design and construction quality, innovation, safety performance, industry and community benefit and overcoming challenges:
- Limberlost Place, located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Submitted by PCL Constructors Canada Inc.
- Marine Works Package for Vung Ang II Thermal Power Plant, located in Ky Anh, Vietnam. Submitted by China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd.
- The Henderson, located in Hong Kong. Submitted by WSP Asia Ltd.
This year, everyone worldwide can join in recognizing these global construction achievements at ENR's free-to-attend virtual Global Best Projects awards event presentation on Dec. 18.
