East Campus expansion creates new hub for environmental programs while modeling cutting-edge sustainable design

2015 project starts list does not include as many civic infrastructure projects or large federal facilities as in previous years

Haselden Construction, Centennial, Colo., in March topped out an addition, called the Learning Commons and Innovation Center, to Denver’s Graland Country Day School.

“People are relocating to Colorado in dramatic numbers. Population expansion increases not only demand for housing, services and workspaces but also increases demand on our infrastructure systems,” Elizabeth Stolfus says.

The project  included a 220,000-sq-ft expansion of CU’s iconic Folsom Field.

The new clinic is the first in the Denver Health system to provide on-site urgent care.
