The city of Detroit has shut off drinking water in all public schools after officials found high levels of lead and copper in samples from 16 out of 24 schools tested.
A 17-day construction worker strike in Seattle and Western Washington state ended Sept. 6 after a local union reached an agreement with the Associated General Contractors of America.
