Chicago-based Aries Capital affiliate, Urban Development Fund LLC provided $21.5 million in financing to develop and construct the Embassy Suites Riverwalk in San Antonio. The new 285-room, 16-floor hotel features two levels of below-ground parking, a 7,000-sq-ft grand atrium and a 7,500-sq-ft ballroom. The hotel will be built on a site currently used as a parking lot and serve as an anchor for area redevelopment. Innovative Developers Inc. of Fort Worth is performing approximately 12,900 sq ft of alterations in the Arlington Cancer Center. Initial relocation of the Infusion Center facilities began in December. The design and engineering of the alterations will accommodate the relocation of the Infusion Center and supporting pharmacy and stem cell research Facilities. Additional support and business offices and a data center also will be relocated, putting all of the Arlington Cancer Center facilities under one roof.
