The Vermeer D23x30 Navigator Horizontal Direction Drill is able to deliver 24,000 lb of thrust and pullback, with 3,000 ft-lb of rotational torque. The drill has a carriage speed of 206 ft per minute, with a rotational speed of 219 rpm; it can be used for utility installations up to 6 in. in diameter. Powered by a 100-hp diesel Deutz engine, the drill rig is capable of travel speeds of up to 3.3 mph for transit around the jobsite. Joystick controls, a digital display and onboard diagnostics are standard features on the D23x30.

The Komatsu WA470-8 Wheel Loader is powered by a 272-hp, Tier 4 Final-certified engine that uses up to 6% less fuel than the Interim Tier 4 engine in the previous model.
