Allen Engineering's reversible-plate compactors are now available in three new models. The compactors are available with either gas-powered Honda engines or diesel-powered Hatz engines, rated at up to 9.3 hp. The models have working widths that range from 20 in. to 25 in., and they are capable of up to 5,400 vibrations per minute. The compactors are small enough to be used in tight spaces, such as trenches and excavation sites. They also can be used for compaction on foundations and compacting areas around retaining walls and pipe projects.

The Liebherr L 556 Wheel Loader has a tipping load of 29,870 lb at an operating weight of 39,460 lb. Sporting a 4.3-cu-yd bucket with Z-bar linkage, the wheel loader is powered by a 188-hp Liebherr four-cylinder diesel engine that meets Interim Tier 4 emissions standards. The engine has been reconfigured to make all the maintenance points accessible from ground level.

Epcon 57 is a fast-curing hybrid epoxy designed for use in cold-weather conditions. It can be used in temperatures below 40�F and, it is code-approved for use in water-saturated, water-filled and fully submerged holes. This ability allows workers to install rebar and threaded rod in concrete that is otherwise too damp for use with some adhesives. Code-approved for use in all seismic zones, the epoxy can be used in cracked and uncracked concrete applications.

Bosch GRW 12 E and GRW 18-2 E Professional stirrers are powered by motors that are rated at 1200 watts and 1800 watts, respectively. The stirrers can mix materials with low to medium viscosity, such as paints, varnishes, adhesives and grout. The GRW 12 E has a variable stirring speed of up to 1,000 rpm and a maxium paddle width of 51/2 in. The GRW 18-2 features a two-gear motor with variable stirring speeds of up to 450 rpm and 1,050 rpm and a maximum paddle width of 7 in. Both have lower handles to reduce operator fatigue and a variable-speed switch built into the handle.

A Curtis cab enclosure is now available for the John Deere Gator 825i S4 HPX/XUV four-passenger utility vehicle. It boasts many of the same features as the two-door cab enclosure, including a tempered-glass windshield, sealed-door system and removable pin-hinged doors.
