Amphastar Pharmaceuticals Inc. is planning to expand its pharmaceutical manufacturing operations at its headquarters in Rancho Cucamonga. Project scope includes demolition of an estimated 140,000-sq-ft building; construction of a 279,507-sq-ft building with cleanrooms; and purchase and installation of automated high-speed vial and prefilled syringe production lines, stainless steel piping, fume hoods and wet laboratory, air handling, formulation, filtration, sterile filling, testing, bar coding, labeling, packaging, weighing and conveying equipment and systems. The expansion will quadruple plant capacity to produce injectables, inhalation and intranasal pharmaceutical products. EwingCole will provide architectural design services for the building. Kentucky
General Matter Inc. is planning to establish an estimated $1.5-billion uranium enrichment plant in Paducah, at the site of the former Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant. Project scope includes construction and/or renovation of building space and equipment foundations; and purchase and installation of columns, process vessels, storage tanks, and refining, extraction, separation and crystallization equipment. The facility will process at least 7,600 cylinders of uranium hexafluoride into low-enriched uranium for nuclear fuel. Construction is expected to begin in 2026. South Dakota
Missouri River Energy Services is planning to construct a natural gas-fired power plant on a 71-acre site in Toronto. The project scope includes construction of a natural gas pipeline, a concrete turbine hall building, diesel fuel truck unloading facilities, other building enclosures, and equipment foundations; purchase and erection of structural steel and fuel storage tanks; and purchase and installation of four combustion turbines and generator sets, cooling towers, transformers, switchgear and selective catalytic reduction and other emissions control equipment and systems.
