MISSOURI

Carlisle Construction Materials is planning to construct a new polyiso foam board insulation manufacturing plant in Sikeston. The 455,000-sq-ft plant will be located in the Sikeston South Industrial Park. Construction is expected to start in October 2021 and be completed by February 2023. NEW MEXICO/ARIZONA

Hunt Power is planning to construct the Southline SATS Transmission Line. The first segment will be a new 240-mile double-circuit 345-kV line connecting the Afton Substation south of Las Cruces, New Mexico, to the Apache Substation south of Willcox, Arizona. The second segment will be an upgrade and rebuild of Western’s existing 115-kV transmission lines between the Apache Substation and the Saguaro Substation, which is north of Tucson; this segment will consist of 120 miles of new double-circuit 230-kV lines. Southline will interconnect with up to 14 existing substation locations and include development of a potential new substation in Luna County, New Mexico. The project is valued at $50 million. PENNSYLVANIA

Philadelphia Industrial Development Corp., Ensemble Real Estate Investments and Mosaic Development Partners are planning to develop the historic core district of the Philadelphia Navy Yard. They plan to construct between 1,000 and 1,500 rental units on the 12-acre site, with ground-floor commercial spaces. The project will include both new construction and adaptive reuse of existing buildings. The project is valued at $400 million. UTAH

Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and the Woodbury Corp. are planning to develop the Greek Town mixed-use development, on a site surrounding the Holy Trinity Cathedral in downtown Salt Lake City. The project’s main feature will be a 52,452-sq-ft community center, to replace the existing cultural center. The community center will feature a 600-seat banquet hall, church offices, meeting rooms and the Hellenic Cultural Museum. Other components include 80,000 sq ft of office space, up to 550 apartments, a 150-room hotel, and a 1,000-space underground parking garage. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command has awarded a $1.73 billion firm-fixed-price contract to 381 Constructors for construction of a multi-mission dry dock at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. The contract will be funded in increments over seven years. This project entails a partitioned addition to Dry Dock #1 within the superflood basin area. The addition will consist of two bays, labeled Dry Dock #1 North and Dry Dock #1 West. The existing Dry Dock #1 will be renamed Dry Dock #1 East. Both Dry Dock #1 North and Dry Dock #1 West will be of sufficient size and depth to support the maintenance and overhaul of Virginia-class submarines. 9/30 The Federal Highway Administration is seeking bidders to construct the Mitchell Point Crossing segment of the Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail in Hood River County. The work consists of construction of two bridges, rockfall mitigation, retaining walls, trailhead parking facilities, camp ground facilities, grading, drainage, base, paving, signing, striping, pedestrian railing, and permanent traffic barriers. The project entails rehabilitation of 2,902 ft of 48-in.-dia sewer and 11,902 ft of 69-in.-dia sewer by cured-in-place pipe lining and/or slip-lining process and/or fiber reinforced polymer lining process. It also involves rehabilitation of 28 manholes/structures by the spray-on lining system process and/or fiber reinforced polymer lining process.
