Draft of AISC Structural Steel Seismic Retrofit Standard Out for Review
Portions of the draft of an American Institute of Steel Construction standard, Seismic Provisions for Evaluation and Retrofit of Existing Structural Steel Buildings (AISC 342), are available for public review until Nov. 4. The provisions will likely replace chapter nine of standard ASCE/SEI 41—for the seismic evaluation and retrofit of existing structural steel buildings.
