A civic group has dropped its legal challenge to two condominium towers currently under construction at Brooklyn’s Pier Six development. Plaintiffs alleged that the 15- and 28-story buildings, begun in 2017, exceeded owner Brooklyn Bridge Park Corp.’s promise to minimize new housing at the waterfront development. The corporation countered that the additional residential revenue was necessary to cover upkeep of deteriorating wooden pier piles.
