Officials at BP’s U.S. Lower 48 business unit say they will relocate the multinational energy company’s headquarters to Denver from Houston, with the move expected to be complete in early 2018. The move puts the company closer to its substantial energy assets in the Rocky Mountain region and positions it in “an important energy hub of the future,” according to a BP statement. The Denver office will employ 200 people, BP says.
