Denver construction attorney Gene Commander has been appointed to the Denver Urban Renewal Authority’s Board of Commissioners.

Honnen Equipment has promoted Jon Asbury to vice president in charge of sales operations for the company’s used, Wirtgen and Manitowoc divisions.

GE Johnson Construction Co. has hired Trey Nobles as senior vice president. He will manage operations, preconstruction and business development for the firm’s Rocky Mountain region.

GE Johnson also has promoted Shannon Rogers to senior vice president, managing operations, preconstruction and business development for the firm’s central region, which includes Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas.

Bryant Mazzetti has been named managing principal of Powers Brown Architecture of Colorado. Also, Garrett Taylor is transferring from Houston to join the firm’s Denver office as a project manager.

Ludvik Electric Co. recently promoted Rob Cheney, the firm’s executive vice president, to president and COO. Also, Dan Russell becomes Ludvik’s vice president of Denver operations; Bob Hadley is vice president of business development; and Chuck Dahn is director of airports business development.

Liz Rapp, manager of business development, and Ryan Wilson, director of preconstruction services, have joined PCL Construction Services’ Denver district team.

Bryan Construction has hired Robert Michaels as president of Bryan International and Matthew Johnson as executive manager of the firm’s multifamily group. Michaels is former chief of the construction division, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District.
