Plans for Boston's South Station Call for a 51-story Tower

Houston-based Hines on May 13 announced a joint venture with Gemdale Properties & Investment Corp., a large-scale Chinese developer, to redevelop Boston’s South Station into a transportation hub and mixed-use complex. The first phase includes a 51-story, mixed-use office and residential tower, to be built over the transit center.
