Missouri The State of Missouri is planning to repurpose a section of the existing railroad right-of-way near Pleasant Hill that formerly belonged to the Rock Island Pacific line as a bicycle and pedestrian trail. The project involves placing 1.4 million cu yd of sand as beach fill, to create a berm with a width of 90 ft at an elevation of +8.5 ft NAVD, and a vegetated dune with a crest width of 25 ft at an elevation of +14 ft NAVD.
