NORTH DAKOTA Dakota Oil Processing LLC is planning to build an oil processing facility in Trenton. A 20,000- barrel-per-day crude-oil/diesel hydro-skimming facility, it will include an 8,000-bpd distillate hydrotreater and its associated hydrogen generator, which will remove sulfur to attain ultra-low-sulfur diesel. It also will include a 667,500-barrel tank farm and a truck loading and unloading facility. The project has been valued at $170 million. OHIO The Ohio Dept. of Transportation is planning to replace the East 55th Street bridge in Cleveland. The project entails replacing the CSX railroad bridge over East 55th Street, located just south of IR-90, in order to accommodate the widening of East 55th Street. UTAH The Utah Dept. of Administrative Services is planning to build a new state prison at the intersection of Interstate 80 and 7200 West in Salt Lake City. The 1.3-million-sq-ft facility will replace the existing Draper Prison and be capable of initially housing 4,000 inmates, with expansion capability. Layton Construction Co. HAWAII Nan Inc. has started constructing the Kamehameha Highway Station Group in Pearl City. The project consists of three transit stations: Pearl Highlands Station, a 26,000-sq-ft elevated station structure; Pearlridge Station, a 60,000-sq-ft elevated concourse structure with a separate ancillary building housing the train control and communications room; and Aloha Stadium Station, a 35,000-sq-ft structure with elevated side platforms, a park-and-ride facility and a bus transit center. IOWA Ryan Cos. U.S. has started redeveloping in Waterloo. The project entails redeveloping the former “C” building of John Deere’s campus into Green TechWorks campus, which will include the TechWorks Tech I and Tech II buildings. The six-story, 180,000-sq-ft property will include a John Deere training center, a 191-room Courtyard by Marriott, and four floors with up to 60,000 sq ft of office space.
