Two Deaths on Sabine Pass LNG Project
Two construction workers at Cheniere Energy Inc.’s Sabine Pass LNG expansion project were killed in separate accidents in less than a month. The first occurred on Oct. 17, when a worker fell from scaffolding. On Nov. 9, another worker died from injuries sustained in an accident, but the cause of death was not made public. Bechtel, EPC contractor on the $3.9-billion project, declined to comment.
