Full-Size Pickup: Standard V-8 Engine
On sale soon is the 2008 Nissan Titan, a full-size pickup that comes with a standard 5.6L V-8 with 317 hp and 385 ft-lb of torque. The truck has added a long-wheelbase model that sports a 7-ft-long bed with a crew cab body and an 8-ft-long bed with an extended cab. Also new is the PRO-4X trim level, featuring an off-road suspension and an automatically-locking rear differential. Flexfuel engines are offered as a no-cost option. Half-Ton: New Trim Level
The 2007 Honda Ridgeline sport pickup adds a new low-end trim level that includes a standard trailer hitch and alloy wheels. The half-ton truck is powered by a 3.5L V-6 engine with 247 hp and can tow a maximum 5,000-lb trailer. The 5-ft-long cargo bed, which includes an innovative 8.5-cu-ft locking subfloor "trunk" and dual-action tailgate, can haul up to 1,558 lb. List prices start at $27,800. Mega-pickup: Military-Inspired Styling
