PFI Highway in Israel

Israels Public Works Dept. will supervise the construction of Highway 431, a large, privately financed highway. Danya Cebus Ltd., an Israeli contractor, will be responsible for construction of the 20-kilometer highway from Rishon Le Zion to Modiin. The Or Yehuda-based firm will finance, build, maintain and operate the road for 25 years. The total construction cost is estimated at $300 million. The highway is expected to be ready for use in late 2008.
