Dallas-based McCarthy Building Cos. won three bid packages by Dallas Independent School District for work at nine campuses.

A $12-million bid package includes renovations at Annie Webb Blanton, Nancy Moseley, Richard Lagow and John W. Runyon elementary schools. McCarthy will construct a new 27,000-sq-ft wing at Moseley.

The program manager is Richardson-based Parsons, and architect is Dallas-based Jennings, Hackler & Partners.

A $13-million package includes additions and renovations at four campuses. T.G. Terry Elementary and the Learning Alternative Center for Empowering Youth at Village Fair will get interior renovations and MEP upgrades.

McCarthy will upgrade the existing Clinton P. Russell Elementary School and build a new two-story addition. The Erasmo Seguin Community Learning Center will be demolished and a new faculty parking lot, baseball field, landscaping and irrigation will be added.

The program manager is Dallas-based Jacobs and the architect is RPGA Design Group of Fort Worth.

A $24-million package includes Wilmer-Hutchins High School and stadium renovations. Jacobs is managing the package with Johnson/McKibben Architects Inc. of Dallas.

Some of the campus renovations were completed recently with the remaining projects targeted for next year.
