Rosendin Electric Inc. Completes Acquisition of KST Electric Ltd.
Rosendin Electric Inc., an electrical engineering, power and communications provider based in San Jose, Calif., acquired KST Electric Ltd., a Texas-based, privately held, electrical, data and communications company.
Rosendin gains access to the Texas construction market, where KST Electric has more than 600 employees, and is headquarters in Austin with regional offices in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Corpus Christi and Harlingen. KST will leverage Rosendin’s experience in design-build, renewable energy, mission-critical energy systems, high-tech and health-care construction.
KST will continue to operate under its current name and as a wholly owned subsidiary of Rosendin. Kenneth R. Tumlinson, a co-founder of KST, will lead KST as its president.
