Northeast Lakeview College, the newest addition to Alamo Colleges, recently opened. Built in two phases in four years, the nine-building campus is in Universal City about 15 mi northeast of San Antonio.

The 285-acre campus has the capacity to serve 15,000 students and is the result of a $125-million bond voters approved in 2005. The campus was designed by Overland Partners Architects in collaboration with Ford Powell & Carson, both of San Antonio.

Other firms on the project include Dallas-based Austin Commercial, the general contractor; Austin-based Broaddus & Associates, construction/program manager; Dallas-based Datum Engineers, structural engineer; and San Antonio-based Pape-Dawson Engineers, civil engineer.
