Chicago-based Aries Capital affiliate, Urban Development Fund LLC provided $21.5 million in financing to develop and construct the Embassy Suites Riverwalk in San Antonio. The new 285-room, 16-floor hotel features two levels of below-ground parking, a 7,000-sq-ft grand atrium and a 7,500-sq-ft ballroom. The hotel will be built on a site currently used as a parking lot and serve as an anchor for area redevelopment.
