Steven Katich recently joined JE Dunn Construction, Denver and Colorado Springs, as a director of business development and government relations.

Katich joins the firm with more than 30 years of experience in marketing, government relations, public affairs, media relations and business development. Katich received a degree in political science from the University of Denver and a law degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

Bill Salzbrener has joined Guarantee Electrical Co. as vice president of the firm’s Western Region. He will head the company’s office in Aurora. Salzbrener, 63, has more than four decades of electrical construction experience, including 26 years at Intermountain Electric Inc. Salzbrener was president of Intermountain from 2001-07.

At Guarantee, Salzbrener will spearhead initiatives to grow in its primary markets: health care, institutional, industrial, commercial and the public sector. The Aurora branch currently has more than 100 field and office personnel.

Kevin Larington was recently promoted to executive vice president at Trautman & Shreve Inc. He has worked for the firm for 14 years. In his new role, Larington will be responsible for business development as well as general oversight of the firm’s Denver office.

The Western Colorado Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction recently elected its 2009-10 new members: Mary Ellen Fern with E & E Door & Window; Vicky Gannon with All Types Concrete Work LLC; Imelda Mulholland with Hoskin Farina & Kampf PC; Linda Patterson with Moody-Valley Insurance Agency Inc.; and Cheryl Powell with Labor Ready Inc.
