Tracy Aviary Guest Services and Education Building

Salt Lake City

The new 10,000-sq-ft Tracy Aviary Guest Services and Education Building is located in Salt Lake City's Liberty Park. The guest services portion of the building houses the Aviary entrance and ticketing areas, the nature store, storage and workstations for employees, and the retail sales area. It serves as a new entry to the park and the point at which the visitors' experience begins.

The LEED-Gold-certified project features community connectivity, easy access to public transportation and ample space for pedestrians and bicycles. Key elements of the construction and design include water-use reduction, high-energy performance, natural ventilation, recycling and the use of sustainable materials.
