Jacobs Engineering Inc. Relocation

Denver

International engineering giant Jacobs Engineering selected Swinerton Builders to construct its multifloor office space atop the sixth tallest building in downtown Denver. Work began with complete interior demolition, including partitions, flooring, millwork, acoustic ceiling, light fixtures and low-pressure ductwork.

The LEED-Gold project also retrofitted the existing HVAC system with new direct digital controls and added energy-efficient light fixtures, soundmasking, audio visual systems, a building and tenant security system, upgrades to the fire sprinkler system and more. Swinerton also prepared a three-floor, 60,000-sq-ft temporary work space for the engineering firm in an adjacent building until its own space was ready.
