1. Interstate 15

A new full-interchange is being constructed over I-15 at milepost 330 in South Layton. The design-build project reconstructs mainline I-15 between interchanges at 200 North in Kaysville and Hill Field Road to include one express lane and three general-purpose lanes in each direction.

2. Riverdale Road from Chimes View Drive to Washington Boulevard

Contractor: Granite Construction Co.
Cost: $6 million

Serious traffic delay and connectivity to Interstate 15 and 84 is being addressed by a widening project on Riverdale Road from Chimes View Drive to Washington Boulevard. The project adds lanes, signal improvements, traffic monitoring and detection systems to improve travel time by an estimated 25% and traffic capacity by 35%. Riverdale Road is one of the busiest non-freeways in Utah, servicing an annual daily average of 47,000 vehicles

3. 500 South from Redwood Road to I-15

This project reconstructs 500 South into a five-lane concrete roadway between Redwood Road and I-15. Additional improvements include 12-ft shoulders to accommodate on-street parking, bike lanes, a raised median, sidewalk, park strip and landscaping.

4. I-15 Express Lane Fee System

Lehi, Salt Lake City, Farmington and South Layton
Start: Jan. 2010 Finish: Summer 2010
Contractor: TransCore
Cost: $11 million

This project consists of the installation of electronic equipment on I-15 to allow motorists to pay for express lane use. Project limits on I-15 include Main Street in Lehi to 2300 North in Salt Lake City and State Street in Farmington to the South Layton Interchange.

5. Mountain View Corridor

Contractors: Copper Hills Constructors (Granite Construction, Kiewit Construction and W.W. Clyde & Co.)
Cost: $730 million

This project consists of the construction of outside lanes first in the Mountain View Corridor in preparation for an eventual freeway on the west side of Salt Lake County. Initial construction on a 15-mile segment between 5400 South and Redwood Road includes building two outside lanes in each direction with signalized intersections at the location of future interchanges.

6. I-15 EXPRESSLink Project

Salt Lake and Davis counties
Start: Spring 2009 Finish: Fall 2010
Contractor: Kiewit Southwest Co. and W.W. Clyde & Co. — JV
Cost: $27 million

Express lanes are being added to I-15 between Salt Lake and Davis Counties. The design-build project also replaces bridges at Beck Street, U.S. Route 89 and 1000 North in Salt Lake City.

7. I-15 Interchange in South Salt Lake County

Draper

Contractors: Ames Construction, Wadsworth Brothers
Cost: $142 million

A new interchange at 11400 South and I-15 in Draper is nearly 50% complete. The project also includes widening 11400 South between 700 West and 1300 West, and widening from State Street to Bangerter Highway.
