| Hydraulic Container Loading System: Customizable The Hammar Sidelifter Series 195 allows for the loading, transportation and off-loading of ISO-standard shipping containers from a semi-trailer chassis or rigid truck. A set of hydraulically powered cranes mounted on each end of the chassis lift the container horizontally so as not to put stress on it or upset its contents. The equipment is designed in a standard configuration to lift up to 72,600 lb and can move containers on or off the ground as well as transfer them to another vehicle. The system is driver-operated via remote control and is available in several versions, including with a “trombone” chassis that can expand to accommodate 20-ft to 48-ft containers.
