Adam Nyer founded Skybeck Construction LLC with the focus of bringing commercial construction principals and controls to the multifamily sector. Under his leadership, Skybeck Construction LLC has experienced substantial growth over the past three years. The company's annual revenue has risen to $35 million in 2013 from $5.7 million in 2011.

"I want to build more challenging projects that will allow us to advance ourselves in the market," Nyer says.

He has been involved with the Austin Young Men's Business League for the past seven years and currently serves as the board president.

 

Perryn Olson
Marketing professional serves industry, community

Perryn Olson is a brand marketing and design expert who has worked with clients in a wide variety of industries. He has 15 years of design and marketing experience in the construction, retail and multifamily industries. He has been at the helm of The Brand Constructors, the construction marketing division of Design the Planet, since its inception in 2008.

Additionally, Olson serves on the board of the Society for Marketing Professional Services Southeast Louisiana and the planning committees for both the chapter's educational workshops and for the SMPS Southern Regional Conference.

Olson has put in more than 20 years of service to the Boy Scouts. He has also volunteered nearly 1,000 hours as an advanced animal handler at Audubon Zoo and visits schools to educate young adults about the marketing and design industry.

 

Justin R. Ring
Low-impact design and development leader

Justin Ring has been employed in the land development industry as an engineer for 13 years. Last year, he was invited to become a partner at EHRA Inc. and is the firm's youngest shareholder. Ring works to promote low-impact design and development techniques and projects in the Houston area.

He is a board member of the Texas Land Water Sustainability Forum and is also heavily involved in the Association of Water's board of directors. For the last four years, Ring has served on the board of trustees and is an active member of the Central Fort Bend Chamber Alliance.

"With EHRA's support, I have become someone who gives back to the community in which I work and play," Ring says.

 

Juli Schroeder
LSU grad mentors new designers

Juli Schroeder's professional flexibility serves projects in a variety of roles from project manager to interior designer and construction site coordinator.

An LSU graduate, Schroeder is also a registered interior designer, an active member of her local chapter of the International Interior Design Association and a LEED AP professional. She is also involved in Commercial Real Estate Women Houston.

"One of my biggest goals is mentoring and sharing my experiences and knowledge with new designers in my studio," she says.

Schroeder is a devoted member of her church, serving in a wide variety of community service projects and volunteering as a Boy Scouts of America leader and Cub Scout committee chair.

 

Rik van den Berg
Brings his international expertise across the border

Rik van den Berg began his career in Holland with Royal BAM. After working for Fluor and Flatiron Construction, in 2013 he accepted a position with Texas Sterling.

During his time at Flatiron, van den Berg led several large construction projects, including the intensive utility relocation on the North East Stoney Trail PPP in Calgary, Alberta. He also developed and implemented the ground disturbance permit system on the project. The system is still used by Flatiron today.

Van den Berg has joined the local chapters of AGC and the American Society of Civil Engineers as well as the Houston Contractors Association. He recently became a member of the Conroe Rotary Club.

"I am still relatively new to Texas Sterling Construction and Texas, but I have already started to establish myself in the Texas contractor community, planting the seeds for new relationships for my company," van den Berg says.
