The Pelican Chapter of Associated Builders & Contractors Inc. has elected new officers: Ronnie Gulino of ISC Constructors was named chairman; Joe Wiley, Excel Constructors, chair-elect; Chet Ferachi, Performance Contractors, secretary; Ryan Girouard, Whitney Bank, treasurer; Ray Neck, Turner Industries, vice chair of education and manpower; Brian Bordelon, Triad Electric and Controls Inc., vice chair of member growth; Trey Crawford, Grady Crawford Construction, vice chair of member services; Andy Lopez, Bennett Builders, vice chair of the outlying area; and Lee Mayeux, Cajun Industries, vice chair of governmental relations.

Obituary

Adil M. Godiwalla, 72, a former Houston engineering official and a noted airport designer, died Dec. 16 in Klein, Texas. The cause was heart failure, said Indo-American News. Godiwalla was instrumental in the design of terminals at George Bush Intercontinental Airport and in the revamp of Hobby Airport and assisted in airport designs in Ecuador and Costa Rica. He retired in 2012 after 35 years with the city and was a consultant to Houston-based Gunda Corp.
