Ryan Cos. announced that Connor Lewis has been hired as vice president of development and health care for the Southeast region, working out of the construction/development firm's Tampa office. In his new position, Connor will assist health care providers with site selection and acquisition, municipal use permits and approvals, design and construction coordination, financial packaging and lease or sale negotiations.

Scott Lane has joined Stantec in Raleigh as senior transportation planner. He has 23 years of related experience. In Stantec's Charleston, S.C., office, Matthew Fleming was hired as a transportation analyst; Mike Slagle came on board as a landscape designer; and John Prorock began work as a project engineer.

Randall Cohen was named regional manager of Miller Legg's Winter Park, Fla., office. Tim Ziegler also joined the firm's Winter Park office as a senior engineer.

The Associated Builders and Contractors of the Carolinas announced that Frank Holley of KBR has been elected as the group's chairman. The Carolinas ABC also announced that Eric Perkinson of Brasfield & Gorrie will serve as vice chairman, while Tom Headlee of Watson Electric became treasurer.

Desi Hernandez joined design firm Stevens & Wilkinson in Atlanta as director of mechanical engineering. Hernandez has nearly 30 years of mechanical engineering experience, including having worked on a biological threat-reduction agency project in Azerbaijan and the revitalization of mechanical systems at the Marshall Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala.
