Reno is a licensed contractor who has worked in the construction industry since the age of 13. He founded Merit Metal Products Inc. in Oxnard 28 years ago and specializes in architectural sheet metal, custom metal work and working with exotic metals and alloys.

Andrew Peters, vice president of safety, health and environment at Parsons, Pasadena, has been elected to a second term as chairman of the National Construction Safety Executives. Founded in 1986, NCSE provides a forum for construction industry safety professionals to share best practices to benefit the industry. Peters joined Parsons in 2003 and has more than 35 years of experience in safety management, loss prevention and human resources in the mining, heavy construction and construction equipment industries.

Pattie Antich has joined Stantec's Southern California transportation practice, along with Melissa Cutter and Tina Moschetti.

As senior project manager, Antich will continue to draw on her experience with project management, construction management, engineering management, quality control and permitting within design-bid-build and alternative design-build delivery methods. She also will be acting director of engineering on the Exposition Light Rail project.

As project engineer, Cutter has served on a wide variety of Los Angeles-area projects in the road, highway and mass transit design sectors, including major design-build projects.

She is currently an engineer on the Metro I-405 Sepulveda Pass widening project and most recently held the third-party coordinator post for the Exposition Light Rail project.

With more than 25 years of project management, business, contracts, cost and finance experience, Moschetti will oversee contract procurement, operational and financial support and contribute directly to projects, as needed. Previously, Moschetti worked for an engineering and management firm as program manager serving the Orange County Transportation Authority.

David Yount has been promoted to vice president of PCL Construction Services' Greater Los Angeles Area operations. Yount has more than 20 years of service with PCL and has held a range of positions, including project manager, construction manager, senior district construction manager and, most recently, district manager. Yount has a bachelor's degree in building construction and contracting from Purdue University.

Sara Hill has joined McCarthy Building Cos. as director of business development at the company's Newport Beach office, Southern California division. She will be focusing on developing strategic relationships and creating key project opportunities in the K-12, higher-education, commercial, government and parking-structure markets. Previously, Hill served as director of business development for Seville Construction Services in Pasadena.
