Work force shortages continue to be an issue not just in Dallas but across the state, Buescher says. The local construction market is strong. McCarthy is seeing plentiful work, with the $14.5-million campus-wide landscape/hardscape enhancement project at the University of Texas at Dallas and the 150,000-sq-ft 1920 McKinney Avenue office tower now under way. "We're excited about all the available opportunities that are out there, and there's a lot of excitement in our key clients for continued growth," Buescher says.
