The Construction Mentor Program pairs students with mentors on active construction sites in Boston and is helping address worker shortages on the city’s construction sites.
In an effort to address the labor shortage in New England’s HVAC, plumbing and electrical trades, a New Hampshire-based specialty contractor has started a yearly trade school scholarship program for students interested in being trained in these specialties.
William J. Gilbane, Jr. will be honored as the 2017 ENR New England Legacy Award winner on Dec. 12 during the ENR New England Best Project’s awards event on Dec. 12 in Boston.
