As Everett continues to expand its waterfront, a design collaboration aims to conclude a decades-long effort to create pedestrian access to the waterfront from the upland Grand Avenue Park.
It took three mobile cranes, including one of the largest mobile cranes in the country, working in a choreographed effort to successfully lower the new Tukwila Urban Center Pedestrian/Bicycle Bridge across the Green River in July.
Spanning the Los Angeles museum’s center courtyard, the white-painted 36-ft bridge connects the second-floor permanent gallery in the east wing to the temporary galleries in the west.
