Product Snapshot: Radiant Heater and Tier 4 Loader

The Tweco Fabricator 141i Welder can provide MIG, stick and lift TIG welding outputs from a standard household 115V power source. It offers 10 to 140 amps of power for MIG and lift TIG welding and 90 amps of power for stick welding. The welder weighs only 32.2 lbs and is well suited to smaller projects. It has a built-in gas solenoid valve and wire-feed system for MIG welding and can accept 4-in. or 8-in. spools of wire. The welder features a higher duty cycle compared to earlier models', allowing for longer welding on thick materials.

The Wacker Neuson HDR 155 Direct-Fired Radiant Heater can provide 155,000 BTUs per hour. Unlike a convection heating system that warms the surrounding air, the HDR 155 uses an oil-fired flame to heat a stainless-steel disc to 1,700F; a surrounding cone directs the radiant heat. It can quickly heat sites from 15 ft away. Large pneumatic tires, a single-point lift bail and tie-downs allow for easy transport. The heater's built-in fuel tank allows for 15 hours of continuous operation, and a retractable floor guard eliminates the need for protective floor mats.

The HL730-9A wheel loader is powered by a 128-hp, Cummins Interim Tier 4 engine. It boasts a breakout force of 20,170 lb. and a bucket capacity 2.5 cu yd. Options include the XTD extended-reach model, which has a higher dump height, and a TM tool-carrier model, which features parallel lift for applications such as pipe laying. For greater operator visibility, the redesigned cab has a larger front windshield, compared to earlier models'. An optional ride-control system has shock-absorbing accumulators on the boom to improve operator comfort and reduce material loss.

The Bobcat T590 Track Loader is powered by a Tier 4 engine that does not require a diesel particulate filter. The engine uses ultra-low particulate combustion technology to meet emissions standards. The loader features a vertical lift path, allowing operators to lift heavy loads higher than with a radial lift path. This feature can help in clearing high-sided truck boxes and hoppers and placing pallets. A cab-forward design gives the operator a clearer view of the load. The engine's cold-weather protection settings limit rpm when the engine's temperature is too low.
