Product Snapshot: Tower Crane and Backhoe

The largest standard crane available from Liebherr, the 1000 EC-H is a 40-metric-ton-class tower crane. It has a maximum lift capacity of 11,500 kiloggrams at the tip and a working radius of 80 meters. It is available in two-fall 20-metric-ton and 25-metric-ton versions, with maximum lift capacities of 40 metric tons and 50 metric tons, respectively. The connections on the tower segments have been redesigned to reduce wear, allowing the crane's tower to retain its strength even if it is erected and dismantled regularly. The Liebherr Connect and Work quick-release fastening system is a standard feature to reduce erection times.

Volvo has introduced three new double-drum asphalt compactors: the DD110B, the DD120B and the DD140B, which have operating drum widths of 67 in., 79 in. and 84 in., respectively. These compactors feature dual-amplitude settings, allowing for quick adjustments to meet changing material depth. The compactors are powered by Volvo D4 engines, which meet Tier 4 Interim emissions standards. They have maximum travel speeds of 7 mph, and vibration automatically engages or disengages, depending on preset settings.
