The LOT Polish Airlines Business Lounge, opened in December 2024 in Chicago O’Hare’s Terminal 5, is the airline’s first in North America.
The 6,600-sq-ft space offers travelers refined dining, a full bar, lounge seating and a private sleep pod—blending modern hospitality with Polish cultural design.

The project boosted local trades, supports international travel and elevates O’Hare’s amenities. Building above active baggage belts required nightly shifts, precision coordination and innovative solutions, including installing 300 ft of new sanitary piping across a 24/7 tugway.

International furnishings arrived via LOT aircraft to meet deadlines. Strict safety protocols, daily planning with airport staff and active hazard mitigation ensured zero incidents, delivering a high-quality, on-time lounge that enhances passenger experience and strengthens economic ties.
